{"id":88,"date":"2015-02-23T16:13:16","date_gmt":"2015-02-23T16:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.communicationcoach.ca\/blog\/?p=88"},"modified":"2015-02-23T16:13:16","modified_gmt":"2015-02-23T16:13:16","slug":"confidence-booster-exercise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.communicationcoach.ca\/blog\/confidence-booster-exercise\/","title":{"rendered":"Confidence Booster Exercise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma;\">Some experts say a great way to boost your confidence is to keep a confidence diary for a month.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma;\">It is a smart tool to remind yourself just how good you really are and what you have to be thankful for, and pleased about in your life right now.\u00a0 By writing (<em>or typing<\/em>) answers to key questions you are forced to be honest with yourself and to look at the positive aspects and people in your life, even when you are feeling a bit down.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma;\">Once a week for the next month you can jot down your answers in a notepad or type them in a Word doc to the following confidence questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma;\">Take just 10 minutes per week, sit down and record your thoughts to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt; text-indent: -18pt;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">1. <\/span><\/b><!--[endif]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">What have I got to be grateful for in my life right now?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt; text-indent: -18pt;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">2. <\/span><\/b><!--[endif]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">What am I happy about in my life right now?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt; text-indent: -18pt;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">3. <\/span><\/b><!--[endif]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">Why am I happy about these things?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><!-- [if !supportLists]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">4. <\/span><\/b><!--[endif]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">What did I accomplish last week?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt; text-indent: -18pt;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">5. <\/span><\/b><!--[endif]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">What am I excited about in my life right now?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt; text-indent: -18pt;\"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">6. <\/span><\/b><!--[endif]--><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Tahoma; color: red;\">Who do I love and appreciate in my life? Who do I like hanging around?
